Perfectly located hotel near to main historic attractions (all within walking distance), Plaka, main shopping street and Syntagma. All staff really friendly and helpful - couldn't do enough for us. Absolutely breathtaking views of the Acropolis from the rooftop restaurant and bar area. Hotel very clean, beds super comfortable and rooms spacious. Excellent buffet breakfast, with everything and more that you could wish for. If in Athens again I would definitely stay here again! 100% recommend!

It's an incredible location convenient to everything which is why I have returned on several trips. Sights, shopping and great restaurants are so close. Also a really nice breakfast with an incredible view of the Acropolis. Staff is polite and very helpful.

Less than 10 mins away from the Acropolis, mins from beautiful Plaka neighborhood, Monastiraki Square, Syntagma square, Ermou St (name brand street). Walking around at night was pretty safe too. A lot of restaurants stay open late. The hotel is really clean and room was clean and quite. The bed was comfortable. We had good sleep every night. The best is the rooftop restaurant where we had buffet breakfast every morning and had drinks at nights. The view was spectacular! The breakfast was delicious too! The staffs were all very nice and helpful!!! We would return for sure and recommend all my family and friends to stay here if they go to Athens.

We were on a 4-night stay. The location was great, about 100 meters from Syntagma Square and the Metro station. The location was so central that we were able to the Plaka, Monasteraki, Acropolis, Agora, and many museums. The buffet breakfast was outstanding, there were numerous hot dishes. Also, all the cereals you can think of, whole fruits, yogurts, cakes, pastries galore, freshly made juices, and the coffees, we had Americano and Espresso Longo, were of high quality. I loved their honey draining straight from the honeycomb that I mixed with the Greek yoghurt, yum. The rooftop breakfast area converts to a Restaurant and bar in the evening. There is also a very large pool with lounges on the roof next to the restaurant. The views are stunning both day and night. We were on the fifth floor in a very quiet room accessible by three very fast lifts. The room was very clean, with a very comfortable bed, nice size flat-screen TV with a huge number of channels in different languages. There were floor-to-ceiling windows where one pane was a door that gave the feeling of a balcony. There was an easy-to-use safe. The air conditioning was excellent. There were many facilities that we did not use such as the gym that were very superior to other hotels we have experienced. This is a true 5-star hotel in every respect that should be rated as 6 Stars if not higher. Finally, everyone whom we met would bend over backwards to be helpful which made our stay that much more memorable. Thank you all so very much. We plan to return in a few year's time (Australia is just simply at the end of the world to make these stays happen on a regular basis).

The staff! The staff members are the stars of this hotel. We loved the view from the restaurant terrace - the Pantheon and a panoramic view of the city including the sea. Out of this world. It's where you have breakfast which is absolutely gorgeous with everything you could possibly want to start your day. Housekeeping was excellent - the concierge team always happy to help. The elegant staircase is openly accessible so you can wear off some calories from the huge breakfast. Toilets are efficient and you can use toilet paper. Lovely toiletries replaced daily. Very efficient wifi.

The Electra Metropolis met all of our needs for a three night stay in Athens. The room was large and comfortable, the location was perfect for exploring the city, the included breakfast had a vast selection of choices, and the rooftop terrace restaurant and pool were fabulous. The view of the Acropolis was “the icing on the cake!” I only have two issues. The first issue is the availability of taxis coming to the hotel. You “must” reserve ahead. My second issue is not having our room ready early when requested. After a twelve hour plus flight, we needed to get into our room. Other than those two issues, I would highly recommend the Electra Metropolis.

The staff were very attentive, the room was large with 2 single beds pushed together but it was very comfortable. Huge shower and separate bath. View from the dining room was magnificent of the Parthenon and the acropolis. Gorgeous food, just loved it. Breakfast was of a high standard and very varied. Location is fantastic, very central.

The location is excellent, in the heart of the shopping and restaurant area, squares, and access to other transport including the hop on hop off style tour buses. The most amazing view of the Acropolis from the rooftop restaurant can be enjoyed over breakfast, dinner, or cocktails.

Awesome location, facilities in the hotel were also fantastic. great pool, great bar, great wifi and the staff and service were absolutely brilliant, best service and staff we experienced in Greece (we have been travelling in Greece for 6 weeks). The buffet breakfast is a must include, awesome fresh selection of food and pastries across 4 hours in the morning. Again, service and staff are fantastic. Wifi consistently over 6mbps. Pool fantastic with pool towels, showers, WC and excellent free refreshments.

what you pay is what you get,from service to location, to staff, to ammenities, its a top notch 5 star hotel in the center and everything from ice cream to tavernas and fine dining and shops and center squares are a walkable steps - breakfast : staff give you a table and serve you water,juice,&coffee and you go to the buffet( wide range but i’ve seen wider in intercontinental chaines) but its fine not a bad point(its the international breakfast)
